Arms of the Prince of Wales- Oil on Canvas - C19th
Early 19th Century English School. A fine original oval oil painting on canvas, attractively painted in bright colours and highlighted in gold. A gold crown and coat of arms are flanked by a unicorn and a crowned lion on an architectural plinth. Labelled "ICH DIEN" and with naval scenes to right and left, with Prince of Wales plumage, shamrocks, rose and thistle. Size 76cms x 62mcs, in narrow gilt frame. Photobloom on picture is only through my lighting and NOT on the canvas
