Grand Tour Bronze Luxor Obelisk
A classic Grand Tour piece. Nicely patinated bronze obelisk on a polished stone/slate base surrounded by a railing. The Luxor Obelisk is now located in Paris (Place de la Concorde) having been removed from Egypt in 1833. This model dates from the mid to late 19th century.
Richly decorated with symbols and inscriptions.
Height 18.5 cms.
Condition is excellent.
