Wilsdorf and Davis (Rolex) Watch
Wilsdorf and Davis / (Rolex) "Trench" watch. In working order, both dials. Inscribed to reverse "Xmas 1924" with autograph. Marconi lever 15 jewel movement. The W and D stamp is clearly visible but obscured by a thin bar attached to the inside of the cover. Also silver makers mark. Small crack in the glass face near 12 o clock. Strap is recent. Wilsdorf and Davis was a forerunner of Rolex which originated from the same maker.
