Bronze Bust of Aulus Vitellius
A miniature grand tour bust of Roman emperor Aulus Vitellius. After the original marble bust in the Museo Archeologico in Venice. On a marble base with age related wear giving it a good tactile feel. There are a few old nibbles at the corners of the plinth but these are worn smooth by handling. Estimated at early to mid-19th century. Height is 13 cms.
