Bronze Eagle by Barbedienne
Fine 19th century French Bronze Eagle from Barbedienne. Typical quality cast as with everything from this foundry. This piece is illustrated in the 1886 Barbedienne catalogue, entitled "Aigle" (a copy can be supplied if interested). Nice rich brown patination. Stamped "Barbedienne Fondeur" and also with the "Collas" reduction seal.
