A fine bronze bust of the 17th century French poet, playwright and intellectual. From the Susse Freres foundry, Paris. Stamped on the shoulder with the foundry mark. Lovely patina, on a square marble base. Total height is 22 cms. Excellent condition. Mid to late 19th century.
