Fine bronze of the ancient figure by the Paris Barbedienne foundry, (also stamped with the Collas Reduction lozenge). Mounted on a mottled marble plinth. Height including base is 33 cms. In excellent condition with a rich brown patination. Reference, Barbedienne 1886 catalogue, page 2 priced at 55 Francs.
