Amor and Psyche, hand-painted porcelain Plaque
A 19th century painted plaque exhibited and retailed by Howell and James, Art Pottery Galleries of Regent St London. In the original gilt-frame, overall dimensions Including the frame are 42 by 48 cms. The plaque is 25 by 19.5 cms. Signed with a monogram lower right, possibly “AS”. Howell and James lozenge on the reverse. Condition is excellent, the frame with some minor restoration.
